Doctor Who film crews move to Portland Square after Corn Street

Doctor Who film crews are understood to be setting up in Portland Square today, after shooting scenes for the Christmas Special in Corn Street overnight.
Local businesses say the team behind the hit TV series is setting up shop in the square, and that filming is due to take place later today and tonight.
One business described seeing a number of vans in the area, and lights in the middle of the Square.
Meanwhile a solicitors firm based in the Square said crews have been bringing props to the area this morning.
The firm understands the area immediately surrounding Portland Square will be closed from 4.30pm until the early hours of Wednesday. It is believed film crews are shooting night scenes for the show's Christmas Special, due to be broadcast on Christmas Day.
Last night the Doctor Who team was in Corn Street, filming from the evening through to the early hours. A number of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the stars of the show.
Photos of the filming can be viewed on the Bristol Culture blog. Twitter user rob_barker92 also posted a photo of the filming, taken in the early hours. This morning traders said crews were still clearing up after filming, which saw horse and carts, fake snow and barrels arranged in Corn Street and St. Nicholas Street. Alex Miller, manager at All Bar One in Corn Street, said: "There's still a clean-up going on. From around 5pm yesterday there was quite a crowd, around 50 people. "Looking at the sales it looks like we've benefitted. We have two seats outside and they filled up, people were coming in to get chairs to take out." But for Italian restaurant San Carlo, the filming did not affect trade. Manager Toni Dominicis said: "It did not bring in any extra cash. The market square was closed for the evening. "They made a mess with all this flaky snow. I had to clean it up this morning myself". Lynn Andres, the owner of Guy Fawkes hair and beauty salon in St. Nicholas Street, said: "They left quite a bit of snow behind. I think they'll clear it up later. "They are just wrapping up. I spoke to one of the lighting guys and he said it seemed to have gone well."
